Invite your Team
Send Invites
In your Airbook workspace, click on the 'settings' tab located on the sidebar.
Enter the email addresses of the team members you want to invite. You can invite multiple people at once by separating their email addresses with commas.
Assign Roles:
When inviting new members, you can assign them one of the following roles:
Admin: Full access to the workspace. Admins can manage projects, invite or remove members, and adjust workspace settings.
Analyst: Can create and edit Airbooks, make datasource connections, write and execute queries, and build reports. Analysts have access to most workspace features but cannot manage members or change workspace settings.
Guest: Limited access, typically view or edit-only. Guests can view Airbooks, reports, and dashboards shared with them but have limited access to make any changes. Guests cannot add or edit datasource connections
Send Invitations:
After entering the email addresses and assigning roles, click the "Send Invitation" button. Your team members will receive an email with a link to join your Airbook workspace.
Managing Team Roles
Edit Roles:
You can change a team member’s role at any time by going to the "Members" tab, finding the member’s name, and selecting a new role from the dropdown menu next to their name.
Remove Members:
If someone no longer needs access, you can remove them from the workspace. Click on the trash can icon next to their name in the "Members" tab.
Best Practices for Team Collaboration
Assign Appropriate Roles: Ensure that each team member has the right level of access based on their role and responsibilities.
Regularly Review Access: Periodically check and update team roles to maintain security and efficiency within your workspace.
Inviting your team to Airbook and assigning the right roles helps foster a collaborative and productive environment, ensuring everyone can contribute effectively to your data projects.
