Invite

Collaboration is at the heart of Airbook, and inviting your team members to join you is a straightforward process.
This guide will walk you through the steps to invite users and assign them specific roles, ensuring they have the right level of access and capabilities.

Accessing the Invitation Modal

    Navigate to the top-right corner of your Airbook.
  2. 2.
    Click on the "Share" button.
  3. 3.
    A modal will pop up, presenting options to invite team members.

Inviting Team Members

  1. 1.
    Within the modal, you'll find an input field labeled "Enter Email Address."
  2. 2.
    Type in the email address of the team member you wish to invite.
  3. 3.
    Select the appropriate role for the team member (Analyst, Editor, or Viewer) from the dropdown menu.

    Click on the "Send Invitation" button. An invitation email will be sent to the provided address, allowing the recipient to join your Airbook workspace.

Understanding User Roles

Analyst

  • Capabilities:
    • Write and execute SQL queries.
    • Connect to various data sources.
    • Analyze and visualize data.
  • Ideal For: Team members who handle data directly and are responsible for data analysis.

Editor

  • Capabilities:
    • Add context to existing content.
    • Collaborate with other team members.
    • Add comments and feedback during the analysis process.
  • Ideal For: Team members who contribute to the content, provide insights, and collaborate on the decision-making process.

Viewer

  • Capabilities:
    • View the content of the Airbook.
    • Access visualizations, charts, and analysis results.
  • Restrictions: Cannot edit, comment, or modify content.
  • Ideal For: Stakeholders, clients, or team members who need to be informed but don't contribute directly to the content.

Managing Invitations

  • Remove Access: If you need to remove a team member's access, navigate to the "Team Members" list and click on the 'X' next to their name.
  • Changing Roles: To modify a team member's role, find their name in the member list, click on their current role, and select a new one from the dropdown.
