Creating dashboards on Airbook allows you to present your analyses and insights in a visually appealing and organized manner. This guide will walk you through the steps to create dashboards from your notebook and share them with your team.
Dashboard Views
Navigate to Your Notebook:
Start by opening the notebook where you’ve done your analysis, written queries, and created charts.
Switch to Dashboard View:
In the notebook, switch to the dashboard view to start creating your dashboard.
Adding Content to Your Dashboard
Dashboard Center Section:
The center section of the dashboard view is where you will be dropping in your charts, text, queries, and other elements.
Using the Sidebar:
The left-hand sidebar displays all the blocks (charts, text, queries, etc.) that you’ve created in your notebook.
You can filter these blocks for easy navigation and selection.
Drag and Drop:
To add a block to your dashboard, simply drag and drop it from the sidebar into the center section.
For example, to add a chart, select it from the sidebar and drop it into the desired position on your dashboard.
Customizing Your Dashboard
Resize Blocks:
You can resize the blocks using the drag handles to adjust their display on the dashboard.
This helps in making the dashboard visually appealing and easy to understand.
Add Context:
You can also add any context or explanations you’ve written in your notebook underneath the corresponding charts on the dashboard.
Publishing
Minimize Sidebar:
Once you’ve added all the necessary elements to your dashboard, you can minimize the sidebar for a cleaner view.
Publish to Team:
Publish the dashboard to your team so they can view and understand the data.
Refresh:
Clicking the refresh button will fetch the latest data using the queries you’ve built into the notebook.
This ensures that your dashboard always displays the most up-to-date information.
Creating dashboards on Airbook is a simple and effective way to visualize and share your data insights. By following these steps, you can easily convert your notebook analyses into comprehensive dashboards that your team can use to make informed decisions.
